The Amblers RUGGED range of safety boots combines tough, heavy-duty protection with lightweight comfort. Featuring a water-resistant premium full grain leather upper and lined with Thinsulate for added insulation, they offer superior protection against the elements. The YKK zip allows for quick and easy access, while the DRI-BLOC membrane provides waterproofing and breathability to keep your feet dry and comfortable.

The aggressive toe bumper surpasses the new SC safety category, offering superior protection and durability. Deeper grooves in the toe bumper allow water to disperse, ensuring better traction in wet conditions. The stitching is placed beneath the toe bumper to prevent damage and abrasion. The super lightweight phylon/rubber sole is equipped with a ladder grip and technical grip design to provide ultimate traction, whether on slippery surfaces or rugged terrains. These boots are oil-resistant, heat-resistant, and abrasion-resistant, making them ideal for a wide range of work environments.

Safety Standards & Certifications

This safety boot meets EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S CI SC LG FO HRO SR European safety standards:

• S7S: 200-joule impact and compression-resistant composite toe cap, anti static construction with enegry absorbant heal along with an water resistant upper. Penetration resistant outsole: Average penetration value is not less than 1100N. Tested for general risks with a nail 3mm in diameter (relevant for risks such as sewing needles or hypodermic needles).Water Resistant.
• CI: Insulation against cold.
• SC: Scuff Cap Abrasion - tested to 1,000 abrasion cycles.
• LG: Ladder Grip.
• FO: Resistance to fuel oil of outsole.
• HRO: Resistance to High Heat 300°c.
• SR: Tested on a ceramic tile surface with glycerine. The heel & forepart has also been tested, not just the flat.
